It had already problematic so I returned it to you via Lakshya Tech solution Ltd on 14.02.2014 ticket id 0123DL7288.

    I have talked with your executive person Mr. Pradeep over phone No.01832708514 on 27.02.2014. Mr. Pradeep said for waiting one week more.

    It was in 2010 I have placed the order, now in Jan 2014 i got a call informing about the details of the Akash tab, we confirmed the order n on 20th 2014 I got the device.

    Its very disheartening to know that we were not given info about any other products as if they didnt existed. I really disliked the device, I have followings complaints:

    1.I’m not able to rotate the screen. I can’t find the “screen orientation” option in settings whereas G-sensor is the very first feature visible on the cover.
    2.The Internet surfing on sim card is very low speed, There is no wi- fi connectivity on this tablet.
    3.As per telephonic conversation they said they said one year internet free but fake commitment.
    4.Also it was said it has 2GB internal storage but when i tried to copy an image to the tab it shows memory full. Does such memory space really exists in it?????

    Kindly resolve the issue or take away the tablet and refund me my amount.
    If there is no quick response i would not wait to go to the consumer forum.

    I purchased a 7CZ tablet [Ubislate] from Datawind and received it on 30th September 2013 worth Rs. 6299/- [5999+300 delivery charges].As I was out of station, I opened the parcel after 15 days, when I came back. I couldn’t use it properly; I discovered that its touch is not sensitive. I talked to the datawind people at their head office and told them about the problem in my tab. They took me in confidence and gave me a complaint number and the tel. no. and address of their Bhopal service engineer. I have deposited my Datawind 7CZ tablet to the Bhopal service center on 28th October, 2013. The service engineer identified the problem as “Touch not working” and asked me to deposit it for further inspection. On contacting him the very next day the service engineer informed that the tab had to be sent to the Datawind office and assured me to get it replaced as it was a fresh piece.
    Since then it has been 2 months, no action has been taken nor have I been informed anything about it. I have spoken several times to the Service Center and Technical Department executives of Datawind (at 01832581330, 01832708500) who neither discloses the reasons involved nor gives contact details of the concerned authorities instead adamantly gives hackneyed response of getting it dispatched within 7 days (but never does). I have also sent a copy to mail address: techsupport@datawind.com several times but have never received any reply. All this has led to mental agony.

    1) Orientation not working. A defective device!!!
    2) When system idle for few mins and then screen light turns dim/off auto power saver mode screen starts flickering and at last goes of fully. A defective device!!!

    I bought a tab from Datawind model UBISLATE7CZ on 14th of september which worked good for about 40days after that it started giving me problems.
    I called the technical support of the help.
    They gave me instructions.
    I followed their instruction & ended up in more problems than i had, it was just an issue with the auto rotate service for 4 dimensional view not working properly. but now, that is not working at all also, i have issues with sound not coming out from the speakers & all the apps are deleted.
    with the keyboard which came with the product not working either. so i took it to service center which they said which is in a different corner of the city.
    Service center people are so good at this they welcomed me & registered a case about this(Rep pushpa).
    I was informed that the repaire will take some time if its a minute problem it will be corrected by monday which is 28th october were i gave the tab on 26th of october(Saturday) to the service center associate.
    Also if it needs a part replacement then it will take up to 10days or so.
    I called the service center on monday & they said that the part is being expected my the manufacturer.
    i called the service center & they said that they have not yet received the part on 8th of november so i called the support service they said that the service center has made a note that you(me the user) need to collect the product were as their is no match about the statements.
    so i called the service center on 11th to collect the product they again said they have not yet received the part for repaire & the issue is not yet fixed.
    so i called the manufacturer datawind they said that allow if a 15day span & let the service center team work on the product & let it be fixed(Rep name don’t remmember).
    Again i reached datawind they said it would take atleast till next monday(Ansered by rep. Shubham) which is 18th november for me to receive the tab(as in the tab to be ready & delivery fit).
    For the follow up, i called the service center again on on 14th november(Asnwered Rep angali) they said again that the part is not received & i called the support team of datawind(Answered rep. Nirmal) now he says that the part is not yet dispatched it was never documented to be send he said that he has e-mail in the parts team to send the part on priority & it will take 5 days from now for the product to be ready the product will be repaired on the same day as soon as the part is delived.
    i am still getting a round abouts with is indian manufacturer’s product manufatured in china. Please team help me out from this hassle.
    now when i contacted today still the part is not being send it’s being 1 month the tab is with service center.

    On the telephone the representative tell me that it has a front camera and this device supports whatsapp messenger but I m sorry to say that the word which is tell by ur representative to me is false and now I thought that I got cheated by ur company.
    This tablet is good but no softwares installed either from play store nor from the data wind app market.

    3) I had interchanged Sim used other Sim ( Second SIM) The sim with 250 contact
    Same problem, The problem is not resolved

      4. Battery level would be 20% or above If not then charge your device on switch off mode at least for 3-4 hours only. It also helps in Improving device battery backup.

I tried different sim but the picture remains the same…when automatically network selected it says register to network but no signals are shown.

    Moreover, when i tried tablet without sim, still it search network operators codes …

    When diagonstic with setting details…the status shows as

    I bought ubislate 7c+ and I am not able to register on airtel network it just do not show airtel also If I select automatic then also it losses the connection and I cannot make call or recieve call. I called help line and they said only 32bit card is support and i checked with all the dataprovider (airtel, reliance, vodafone, idea) all have 64bit as per sercurity reason.

    I had bought UBISlate 7c+ sometimes back and whenever I put sim card it does not detect any netowrk, it just shows random no# in list of network when I click on automatic selection it selects but within sometime I see no Network. I had called help desk and they said you need 32 bit sim card, I checked with all the providers (airtel, vodafone, bsnl) no one has 32 bit card those are old and new ones are all 64 bit, so am not able to use the calling facility.     I had prebooked for a Ubislate 7+ during the month of December 2011 and I was allotted the Booking ID PM91866FAC4A.I had sent a DD for RS. 2999/- bearing No.864933 dtd 28.1.2012 from SBI CPCRI Campus Kasaragod. Later as per your email dated May 8 2012, I had upgraded the order to Ubislate 7C and sent a second DD for an amount of Rs.1000/- No.920519 dtd 10.5.2012 from SBI. You had acknowledged both payments thru emails dated 15.3.2012 and 17.5.2012 respectively. Later in June 2012, I was delivered the wrong item, a Ubislate 7+ through DTDC courier vide AWB No. X00840346 without considering my upgradation status. This was informed to you vide my letter dated 16.7.12. Later I wrote letters dated 12.11.12 and 14.12.12 for taking back the item delivered and to deliver the requested item (Ubislate 7C).Later I got a email from you telling that you can order for 7C+ which is the latest version by paying another Rs.1000/-.Believing this I paid the amount online with reference no. CCA13BNLQ272 dated 3.2.13 and allotted Order ID PMD8C47B9637.But so far I didn’t get my 7C+.I had written several letters and emails asking you to send the 7C+, but in vein. I have paid a total of Rs. 4999/-.I want to return the 7+ delivered to me which was not the requested one.
    Since you are being dumb for the past two years, I have taken up steps with my advocate in the process of filing a suite in the Consume Court.If I am not delivered a brand new Ubislate 7C+ immediately in another one week, I will proceed with the suite and other procedures. You can take back the 7+ which was wrongly delivered to me as I don’t need it.

      2. While connecting to Wi-Fi network make sure the password entered is correct.
      3. Check Wi-Fi is working on another devices, mobiles and PC or not.
      4. Reset the device by inserting a pin in reset hole on the backside of device.
      5. Un-pair the Wi-Fi network and pair again after restart the device.

        1, I told that the Wifi is not getting switch on. When I try to switch it on using Settings-> Wi-fi and Switching on the Devise, It showing “Turning Wi-Fi on” and getting off again with in a minute.
        2, Even the Wi-Fi is not getting Switch on. Then why should I check for range and password. Even though I tried the same using Hotspot option on TAB.
        3, When I use the TAB devise as a Hotspot with mobile and other devises it working fine. Even I can pair and use the connection. It seems the issue is with the Wi-Fi software or driver.
        4. Tried to reset the devise as you suggested, But no luck.
        5. As I cant enable the Wi-Fi. How can I check pairing. (Pairing is working with Hotspot option)

        If possible please send me a link of updated OS Image.

        Moreover I tried to contact you people using the below numbers for a week.

            Still my issue not fixed. I applied the fix as per the document. Nothing happened. When i check the process through catlog application from “Googleplay” , It shown unable to start supplicant. So i need a guide and required thing to correct the Wifi issue. Other than that “Wifi Hot spot” is working.
            Even if we install signal booster, Getting only verly low signal. If the issue not get resolved. I may need to complaint about customer service.
            I have replied on the agent mail long back on the same mail. But nobody replying or sharing the service center details.

        I booked an ubi slate 7ci on 26th augast2013 through online purchase, order id: PM5D1BA96D3E. After a long wait for 19 days I got it on 15th sep’13. The currier was FEDEX AWB no. 566188805539. But when i unfolded the packet it was a defected, out of order, used tab. The screen is full of scratches & I could not switch it on. From no angle it looks like a first hand new ubi slate. It is quite unfortunate. As a customer I suppose to get a new one. I send them an e mail on 16th september’13 informing about all the problems, with vedio clipings & photograps of the tab. As per their customer support center request I have been to their technical support office at new delhi karol bag. The technical expart out there said me in hindi ‘iska patti kati hui hai’ & it should not be covered under warrentee.

    I have made the payment of Rs. 6799/- through Indian Bank Credit Card on 11/09/2013 towards the cost of Ubislate 7CZ with keyboard case and have sent 3 mails to sales@datawind.com with the transaction details.and also spoke to your Customer Care No. 01832708500 and they have asked to send a mail to deepika.datawind @gmail.com with the details and I have sent the credit card details to her. Till now I have not given the booking number and the delivery status.

    Kindly look into the matter and arrange to dispatch the material at the earliest, since you have received the payment in full and hope you do the needful.
